Volume VIII contains the re-worked, peer reviewed, edited papers originally presented at STLHE 2014 in Kingston, ON with the theme Transforming our Learning Experiences. Submitted papers grouped themselves into five sections: I. Transforming Learning: Invited Papers (authored by the 2014 winners of the Alan Blizzard award and five of the 3M National Student Fellows); II. Transforming Through Metacognition; III. Writing as Transformative Experience; IV. Supporting Our Transformative Experiences; V. Transforming Our Teaching. The editors invite you to read the papers and consider how we can design our educational experiences to support all learners' transformation into the people they aspire to be.
